Our name, Gaishan (改善), means steadily improving over time—constantly improving, consistently growing.


Here at Gaishan, we firmly prioritize and foster an environment that supports thinking big, pushing boundaries, continued education, and excitement. We aren't big fans of settling, so we thought our name should represent our company's spirit.

    Our company’s founder Chris Lowder is one of the world’s most sought-after talents in corporate and multi-venue luxury bar consulting. Chris has successfully built globally recognized beverage programs in some of the world’s most challenging markets, including China, South Korea and New York.
